Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.R. No.
121, entitled:
“HOUSE RESOLUTION URGING THE COMMITTEE ON WEIGHTS TO
RECOMMEND, AND THE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO ADOPT, A WEIGHTED
STUDENT FORMULA THAT GIVES GREATER CONSIDERATION TO SMALL AND
REMOTE SCHOOLS,”
begs leave to report as follows:
The purpose of this measure is to urge the Committee on
Weights to recommend, and the Board of Education to adopt, a
weighted student formula that gives greater consideration to small
and remote schools.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your
Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.R. No. 121,
H.D. 1, and recommends its adoption.
