2 An act relating to fees; amending s. 507.03, F.S.;
3 revising registration fees for moving brokers;
4 providing a contingent effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

8 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section
9 507.03, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
10 507.03 Registration.—
11 (3)(a) Registration fees shall be calculated at the rate
12 of $300 per year per mover and $600 per year per or moving
13 broker. All amounts collected shall be deposited by the Chief
14 Financial Officer to the credit of the General Inspection Trust
15 Fund of the department for the sole purpose of administration of
16 this chapter.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date
18 that HB 1523 or similar legislation takes effect, if such
19 legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an
20 extension thereof and becomes a law.
