Walter Peacock
Walter Peacock is an experienced community outreach professional
related to youth issues and athletics who currently serves as the
Chair ofthe Commission of Out of School Time Grants and Youth
+ Outcomes.
Mr. Peacock previously served as a Data Specialist with the
Department of Insurance, Securities & Banking with the Bank on
DC. Before his tenure, at the Bank on DC, Mr. Peacock was a
participant in the Mayor Marion S. Bary Summer Youth
Employment Program. Mr. Peacock served as Chair of Guide Right
Community Service and Outreach with his local chapter of Kappa
Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Peacock has also won countless
awards, including the Black Engineer of the Year Student Athlete Leadership Award from
Howard University. An All-Academic Honors student-athlete, Mr. Peacock is the recipient of
over ten scholarships and honor awards.
Mr. Peacock is being reappointed to the Commission on Out of School Time Grants and Youth
Outcomes because of his exemplary leadership as Chair and his several years of being active
with youth within the community have greatly contributed to the commission.
A Ward 7 resident, Mr. Peacock received a BachelorofArts in Political Science with a minor in
Computer Science from Howard University.
