To declare the existence of an emergency with respect to the need to approve multiyear Contract
No. AGR2021-022 with the Arizona Department of Health Services to provide a new
management information system for the supplemental nutrition program for women,
infants, and children.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the Contract No. AGR2021-022 with the Arizona Department of
Health Services Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2021.
Sec. 2. (a) The Office of Contracting and Procurement, on behalf of the Department of
Health, proposes to enter into a multiyear contract with the Arizona Department of Health
Services to provide a new management information system for the supplemental nutrition
program for women, infants, and children in a not-to-exceed amount of $3,135,443.34.
(b) Council approval is necessary to allow the District to continue to receive the benefit
of these vital goods and services from the Arizona Department of Health Services without
interruption.
(c) These critical goods and services can only be obtained through an award of the
multiyear contract with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Sec 3. The Council determines that the circumstances enumerated in section 2 constitute
emergency circumstances making it necessary that the Contract No. AGR2021-022 with the
Arizona Department of Health Services Emergency Approval Resolution of 2021 be adopted on
an emergency basis.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
