Elizabeth Lamme
Ms, Lamme is a Certified Nurse Midwife with Women's and Infants
Services at MedStar Washington Hospital Center where she practices
full-scope midwifery care. She is also a current member of the
District of Columbia Board of Nursing.
Ms, Lamme has worked as a registered nurse on the Labor and
Delivery unit at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for the
past three years and is completing her clinical practicum in midwifery
and womens health with the Midwives of MedStar Washington
Hospital Center. Prior to becoming a nurse, Ms. Lamme worked in
womens health policy and advocated for the Affordable Care Act.
Ms. Lamme is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the Association of
Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, and the Honor Society of Nursing - Sigma
Theta Tau International.
A Ward 2 resident, Ms. Lamme received a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New
York at Geneseo, a Bachelorof Science from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, and
a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health
Sciences.
