RESOLVED, BY COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution
may be cited as the Science Advisory Board Henry Swofford Confirmation Resolution
of 2021.
Sec. 2. The Councilofthe District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

as a forensic scientist not currently employed by the Department or by a law enforcement
laboratory or agency that provides forensic science services to the District member of the
30 Science Advisory Board, in accordance with section 12 of the Department of Forensic Sciences
31 Establishment Act of 201 1, effective August 17, 2011 (D.C. Law 19-18; D.C. Official Code 5-
32 1501.11), replacing Dr. Simone Gittelson, filling an unexpired term to end November 25, 2020,
33 and for a new term to end April 18, 2023.
34 Sec. 3. The Council ofthe District ofColumbia shall transmit a copyofthis resolution,
35 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
