Stacie Lee Banks
Stacie Lee Banks, a current member of the Commission on the
Arts and Humanities and the Owner of Lees Flower and Card
shop.
Ms. Banks is a native Washingtonian and third generation small
business owner. Her professional and personal roots run deep and
wide throughout the DC Metropolitan community. She graduated
from Taft Junior High and McKinley Tech High School. Ms.
Banks has served on and currently sits on several boards and
committees, including Marthas Table, N Street Villages
Ambassadors Council. She has also served in leadership positions
for the Societyof American Florists (SAF) and Teleflora.
A Ward 3 resident, Ms. Banks obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard
University.

A historic family owned business operated by three generations of the Lee family since 1945. Stacie have
grown up in the floral business and has operatedinevery capacity with the local shop throughout her 40 year
career designing pieces showcased nationally and internationally.
Stacie has earned national recognition and holds floral industry certifications as a FTD Master Florist;
inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture (AAF) and a member of the Society of American Florists
Along with her sister, co-owner, Stacie has updated Lee's Flower and Card Shop operations and services to
meet the demands of rapidly changing market in the DC Metropolitan area,
Under Stacies leadership, Lee's Flower Shop has been voted Best of DC for3 consecutive years.
