Pursuant to section 451ofthe District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code 1-
204.51) and the Procurement Practices Reform Act (D.C. Official Code 2-351.01 et seq.),
enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is proposed
Modification No. M0012 to Contract No. CW63222 with The National Center for Children and
Families, Inc. to exercise option year two in the not-to-exceed amount of $3,929,977.32. The
period of performance is from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021.
Under the proposed modification, The National Center for Children and Families, Inc. shall continue
to provide continuous comprehensive services necessary to operate a home-like environment for
families experiencing homelessness located within the District.

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer hereby certifies the sum of $327,498.11 for National Center for Children
and Families Inc. for Short-Term Family Housing. The funds are included in the Districts Local Budget and Financial
Plan submitted to Congress by the Chairman of the Council to the Speaker of the House of
Representatives for Fiscal Year 2020.
The total funding requirements for the contract is $3,929,977.32 for the period of September 01, 2020 through
August 31, 2021. The remaining $3,602,479.21 is subject to the availability of funds in the FY2021 approved budget.
There is no fiscal impact associated with the contract.
