REASONS FOR BILL: To clarify certain responsibilities of the civil service board by
classifying all the officers and employees in the departments for which the merit system has
been adopted.
RESPONSE FROM ADMINISTRATION/AGENCY:
CCM, CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER, DONNA HAMZY CARROCCIA, CCM would caution
the consideration and passage of a proposal such as this which uses a broad title and
proposes to make minor technical changes for the sake of a public hearing.
