AN ACT CONCERNING CROSS-ENDORSED CANDIDATES ON THE
BALLOT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that, in the
2 case of a candidate who has received the nomination from more than
3 one political party appearing on the election ballot, the name of such
4 candidate shall appear only once on such ballot.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that, for any candidate who has been nominated by multiple
parties, the name of such candidate shall appear only once on the ballot.
