AN ACT REQUIRING NOTICE OF AN EMPLOYEES RIGHT TO
CHOOSE NOT TO BE A MEMBER OF A UNION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That the general statutes be amended to require that state and
2 municipal collective bargaining agreements and related employee
3 notices include a clear and conspicuous statement of any employee's
4 rights to choose not to be a member of a union.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide clear notice of an employee's right to choose not to be a
member of a union.
