AN ACT CHANGING CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
FOR CERTAIN LICENSED PROFESSIONALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That the general statutes be amended to provide that any continuing
2 education requirement for licenses issued pursuant to chapter 393 of the
3 general statutes by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection be
4 completed in a period of not less than five years, except in the event of
5 significant changes to the Building Code, as approved by the
6 International Code Council.
Statement of Purpose:
To change continuing education requirements for certain licensed
professionals.
