AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAL MARIJUANA REGISTRATION TIME
PERIODS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That the general statutes be amended to correct the registration
2 period of medical marijuana registrations so that they are valid for one
3 year, by amending section 21a-408d of the general statutes so that a
4 qualifying medical marijuana patient's registration card is effective for
5 one year from the date the Department of Consumer Protection issues a
6 certificate of registration, rather than the date of the written certification
7 issued by the physician or advanced practice registered nurse.
Statement of Purpose:
To correct the registration period of medical marijuana registrations so
that they are valid for one year.
