REASONS FOR BILL:
Because of current regulations that forbid the use of alcoholic self-pour service, this bill will
allow facilities with alcoholic permits to be able to serve their facilities' beer, cider, and other
alcoholic drinks 6% and under via a self-pour automated machine.
RESPONSE FROM ADMINISTRATION/AGENCY:

NATURE AND SOURCES OF SUPPORT:
ChilliProof submitted testimony supporting the bill. This bill is pro jobs and pro local
investment. Forty six other states allow self-pour technology. The consumer may be
controlling the pour they still have staff members available for over-pour monitoring and
checking on consumption. Self-pour benefits by bolstering our state's economic
competitiveness, empowers and protects consumers and invests in our communities and
their future.
