AN ACT CONCERNING SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING IN THE
WORKPLACE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That section 46a-54 of the general statutes be amended to provide that
2 if an employee has received the training provided by the commission
3 pursuant to the provisions of subdivision (8) of subsection (a) of section
4 46a-56 of the general statutes, while employed by a different employer
5 within the two-year period preceding the employee's date of hire, an
6 employer may consider the employee's prior training to satisfy the
7 training requirements of this section.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce duplicative sexual harassment training requirements for
certain employees.
