AN ACT NAMING A PORTION OF ROUTE 113 IN HONOR OF TERRY
BACKER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That a portion of Route 113 that passes through the Great Meadows
2 Salt Marsh in the town of Stratford be named in honor of Terry Backer.
Statement of Purpose:
To name a portion of Route 113 in honor of former State Representative
Terrance E. Backer to recognize more than twenty years of public service
to the town of Stratford and his commitment to the environment as the
Long Island Soundkeeper.
