AN ACT CONCERNING THE REASSESSMENT OF RESIDENTIAL
BUILDINGS WITH DEFECTIVE CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS AND
QUARRY GEOLOGICAL SOURCE REPORTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That the general statutes be amended to permit any owner of a
2 residential building with a foundation made of defective concrete to
3 obtain a reassessment of such building, which shall remain valid until
4 such foundation is repaired or replaced, and to require quarries that
5 produce aggregate for use in concrete to annually prepare a geological
6 source report.
Statement of Purpose:
