RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT CONCERNING TERM LIMITS FOR LEGISLATORS.
Resolved by this Assembly:
1 That section 10 of article third of the Constitution of the state be
2 amended to provide that no senator or representative shall serve more
3 than ten consecutive years in either office or both offices combined, and
4 to require a lapse of at least two years after such consecutive ten-year
5 period before a person may be a candidate for either office again.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish term limits for legislators.
