AN ACT CONCERNING THE POSTING OF DECISIONS OF APPEALS
FROM TRAFFIC CONVICTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2020) The Chief Court
2 Administrator shall ensure that no opinion from an appeal of a traffic
3 conviction shall remain accessible by the public on the Judicial Branch's
4 Internet web site for a period that is longer than ten years from the date
5 on which the opinion is officially released.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 October 1, 2020 New section
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the Judicial Branch from posting decisions of appeals from
traffic convictions for longer than ten years on its external Internet web
site.
