AN ACT CONCERNING MEMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN EXECUTIVE BRANCH AGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2020) Not later than five days after
2 the execution of a memorandum of understanding between two or more
3 state agencies in the executive branch, the Secretary of the Office of
4 Policy and Management shall submit a copy of such memorandum to
5 the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having
6 cognizance of matters relating to each such state agency, appropriations
7 and the budgets of state agencies and government administration.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2020 New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require that a copy of any executed memorandum of understanding
between two or more executive branch agencies be submitted to the
relevant joint standing committees of the General Assembly.
