The proposed bill amends section 16-411 of the Arizona Revised Statutes concerning election precincts and polling places. It mandates that the Board of Supervisors in each county must designate at least one polling place or voting center on the main campus of each state university within the county. Additionally, the bill requires the provision of at least one early ballot dropbox at each state university satellite location and each community college campus and satellite location in the county.

The bill also includes minor re-lettering of subsequent subsections due to the insertion of the new mandate. The current provisions regarding the designation of alternative polling places by the justice of the peace or election board, the consolidation of polling places and precinct boards for elections without candidates, and the requirement for public schools to provide space for polling places remain unchanged, but their subsection designations are updated to reflect the insertion of the new subsection C.
