Overview

Appropriates $3,000,000 from the state General Fund (GF) in FY 2022 for the development and construction of an environmental testing laboratory at the Navajo Technical University campus (NTU) in Chinle.

History

NTU was founded in 1979 and has several locations spanning across the Navajo Nation. These locations include Chinle, Arizona and Teec Nos Pos, Arizona as well as other locations in New Mexico, such as Crownpoint, Kirtland and Zuni.

The Arizona Department of Adminstration (ADOA) provides general support services to state agencies, including accounting, financial, purchasing, building and grounds maintenance, personnel, information technology, travel reduction and risk management services (A.R.S. Title 41, Chapter 4).

Provisions

1.   Appropriates $3,000,000 from the state GF in FY 2022 to ADOA to distribute to NTU to develop and construct an environmental testing laboratory on the university campus in Chinle, Arizona. (Sec. 1)
