Purpose
                      Allows the court to accept specified documents signed with an electronic signature.
Background
                      Statute requires the Arizona Supreme Court to regulate pleading, practice and procedure in judicial proceedings in all Arizona courts to simplify pleading, practice and procedure and promote speedy determination of litigation on its merits. The Arizona Supreme Court must print and distribute rules to all members of the State Bar of Arizona and all other persons who apply. These rules become effective no earlier than 60 days after distribution (A.R.S.   12-109).
                                                    There is no anticipated fiscal impact to the state General Fund associated with this legislation.
Provisions
1.   Allows the court to accept documents that require a sworn written declaration, verification, certificate, statement, oath or affidavit to be signed with an electronic signature.
2.   Makes technical and conforming changes.
3.   Becomes effective on the general effective date.
