20 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

22 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 7-5-207(a)(2)(B)(iv), concerning ballots,
23 names included on the ballot, and the tabulation of certain races, is amended
24 to read as follows:
25 (iv) The names of all unopposed candidates for the
26 office of Governor, mayor, circuit clerk, and the office of a nonjudicial
27 state elected official shall be separately placed on the general election
28 ballot, and the votes for mayor, Governor, circuit clerk, city clerk, and a
29 nonjudicial state elected official shall be tabulated as in all contested
30 races.
