21 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

23 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 5-73-101, concerning the definitions for
24 the possession and use of weapons subchapter, is amended to add an additional
25 subdivision to read as follows:
26 (14) "Loaded firearm" means a firearm that is assembled and
27 contains an unexpended cartridge, shell, or projectile in the firing
28 position, including without limitation:
29 (A) For a pistol or revolver, when an unexpended
30 cartridge, shell, or projectile is in a position in which the unexpended
31 cartridge, shell, or projectile could be fired by one (1) manual operation of
32 any mechanism; and
33 (B) For a muzzle-loading firearm, when the muzzle-loading
34 firearm is charged with a propellant and a projectile and is capped or
35 primed.
