27 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

29 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 14-15-811(c)(2)(A), concerning the County
30 Treasurer's Continuing Education Board and the County Treasurers' Continuing
31 Education Fund, is amended to read as follows:
32 (2)(A) The quorum court of each county shall annually
33 appropriate and pay into the County Treasurers' Continuing Education Fund in
34 the State Treasury the sum of seven hundred dollars ($700) eight hundred
35 dollars ($800) from fees of the office of county treasurer.

1 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code § 14-15-1001(c)(1)(B), concerning the County
2 Collector's Continuing Education Board and the County Collectors' Continuing
3 Education Fund, is amended to read as follows:
4 (B) The quorum court of each county shall annually
5 appropriate and pay into the fund in the State Treasury the sum of seven
6 hundred dollars ($700) eight hundred dollars ($800) from fees of the office
7 of county collector.

9 SECTION 3. Arkansas Code § 26-60-112(b)(1), concerning the
10 distribution of the net revenue from the real property transfer tax, is
11 amended to read as follows:
12 (1) Ten percent (10%) of the remainder shall be distributed as
13 special revenues, as follows:
14 (A) The first one hundred fifty-seven thousand five
15 hundred dollars ($157,500) one hundred eighty-one thousand five hundred
16 dollars ($181,500) of the remainder during each fiscal year shall be credited
17 to the County Clerks Continuing Education Fund, the Circuit Clerks Continuing
18 Education Fund, and the County Coroners Continuing Education Fund that are
19 established in the State Treasury, to be used for defraying the expenses of
20 training seminars and other educational projects benefiting county and
21 circuit clerks and coroners in this state, as provided by appropriations
22 enacted by the General Assembly and shall be used as follows:
23 (i)(a) Fifty-two thousand five hundred dollars
24 ($52,500) Sixty thousand five hundred dollars ($60,500) for county clerks'
25 continuing education.
26 (b) Any unexpended balances of moneys
27 designated for county clerks' continuing education shall be retained
28 exclusively for the purpose of county clerks' continuing education;
29 (ii)(a) Fifty-two thousand five hundred dollars
30 ($52,500) Sixty thousand five hundred dollars ($60,500) for circuit clerks'
31 continuing education.
32 (b) Any unexpended balances of moneys
33 designated for circuit clerks' continuing education shall be retained
34 exclusively for the purpose of circuit clerks' continuing education; and
35 (iii)(a) Fifty-two thousand five hundred dollars
36 ($52,500) Sixty thousand five hundred dollars ($60,500) for county coroners'
