18 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

20 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 16-17-126(b), concerning fees for issuing
21 summons or subpoenas, is amended to read as follows:
22 (b)(1) The district court clerk shall collect a fee of two dollars and
23 fifty cents ($2.50) for drawing and issuing, or sealing, a summons or
24 subpoena if the summons or subpoena follows the form incorporated into Rule 4
25 of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure.
26 (2) A The fee for issuing or sealing a summons shall not be
27 collected under subdivision (b)(1) of this subsection for actions brought in
28 the small claims division if the summons or subpoena follows the form
29 incorporated into Rule 4 of the Arkansas District Court Rules and the summons
30 or subpoena is not a separate document.
