22 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

24 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 15-75-111 is amended to read as follows:
25 15-75-111. Discretionary suspension of inspection and registration
26 fees.
27 (a) If the balance of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Fund reaches exceeds
28 five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board
29 shall have the discretion to dispense with all inspection and registration
30 fees for a one-year period. At the expiration of the one-year period, if the
31 balance of the fund is is below five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), the
32 board may reinstate the inspection and registration fees.
33 (b) The board's decision to dispense with inspection and registration
34 fees under this section is effective for the fiscal year following the
35 board's decision.
