ASSUMPTIONS - BASED ON:
√ Currently, this scholarship program is allocated $150,000 annually for awards. This limits the
number of awards that can be awarded each year. The changes to this program proposed
in SB71 would not change that level. It would only increase the number of eligible
students that could apply for the awards.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
√ If any additional funding were given to the program, that could increase the impact. But
without additional funding, there would be a net $0 impact to the cost of this program.
