15 ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

17 WHEREAS, the Batesville High School swim team has many recent
18 successes; and
19
20 WHEREAS, the 2022 Batesville High School swim team won the Class 5A
21 state championship meet; and
22
23 WHEREAS, the 2021 Batesville High School swim team finished third in
24 the Class 5A state championship meet; and
25
26 WHEREAS, the 2020 Batesville High School swim team won the Class 4A-1A
27 state championship meet; and
28
29 WHEREAS, the 2019 Batesville High School swim team was the runner up in
30 the Class 4A-1A state championship meet; and
31
32 WHEREAS, the 2022 Batesville High School swim team won their conference
33 for the third consecutive year; and
34
35 WHEREAS, the Batesville High School swim team holds state records in
36 swimming for the two hundred (200) yard medley relay, the two hundred (200)

1 yard freestyle stroke relay, and the four hundred (400) yard freestyle stroke
2 relay; and

4 WHEREAS, 2022 Batesville High School swim team senior Nathan Hernandez
5 has been an All-State swimmer four (4) times and was the state champion in
6 the one hundred (100) yard butterfly stroke in 2021 and the one hundred (100)
7 yard back stroke in 2020; and
8
9 WHEREAS, 2022 Batesville High School swim team senior Trey Moody has
10 been an All-State swimmer three (3) times and was the 2022 Class 5A state
11 champion in the one hundred (100) yard freestyle stroke; and
12
13 WHEREAS, 2022 Batesville High School swim team senior Keegan Sudol has
14 been an All-State swimmer three (3) times; and
15
16 WHEREAS, 2022 Batesville High School swim team freshman Dewey Rogers
17 finished third in the 2022 Class 5A state championship meet in the fifty (50)
18 yard freestyle stroke; and
19
20 WHEREAS, 2022 Batesville High School swim team freshman Ethan Insell
21 finished third in the 2022 Class 5A state championship meet in the two
22 hundred (200) yard individual medley; and
23
24 WHEREAS, the Batesville High School swim team has been well led by
25 coaches Khang Nguyen and Alfredo Aleman; and
26
27 WHEREAS, the Batesville High School swim team has also been supported
28 by additional coaches, staff, other members of Batesville High School, and
29 their community,
30
31 NOW THEREFORE,
32 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
33 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

35 THAT the House of Representatives congratulate the Batesville High
36 School swim team on their many recent accomplishments.

2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon its adoption, a copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the coach of the Batesville High School swim team, Khang Nguyen,
4 by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
