18 WHEREAS, Valley View School District had many recent athletic and
19 academic successes; and
20
21 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Blazers baseball team claimed
22 the Class 4A state championship trophy; and
23
24 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Blazers mens bowling team
25 claimed the Class 4A state championship trophy; and
26
27 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Blazers mens soccer team
28 claimed the Class 4A state championship trophy, which gave them back-to-back
29 state championship titles; and
30
31 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Lady Blazers cross country
32 team claimed the Class 4A state championship trophy, which gave them back-to-
33 back state championship titles; and
34
35 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Lady Blazers volleyball team
36 claimed the Class 4A state championship trophy, which was their seventh

1 consecutive state championship title; and

3 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Blazers mens golf team
4 claimed the Class 4A state championship trophy, which was their third
5 consecutive state championship title; and

7 WHEREAS, the 2021 Valley View High School Lady Blazers cheer team
8 claimed the Class 4A state championship trophy; and
9
10 WHEREAS, Cydney Rogers of the Valley View High School Lady Blazers
11 tennis team won the Class 4A state tournament individual title for the 2021-
12 2022 season, which was her fourth consecutive year winning this award; and
13
14 WHEREAS, Cole Litrell and Jacob Angle of the Valley View High School
15 Blazers wrestling team won Class 4A state tournament individual titles for
16 the 2021-2022 season, and
17
18 WHEREAS, Dylan Dobbs of Valley View High School won the overall state
19 rodeo championship for the 2021-2022 season; and
20
21 WHEREAS, Will Little of the Valley View High School Blazers swim team
22 won the Class 4A state championship in the 100 meter breast stroke and 500
23 meter free stroke; and
24
25 WHEREAS, Raymond Moody of Valley View High School achieved a perfect
26 ACT score of 36; and
27
28 WHEREAS, the 2020 Valley View High School Blazers mens cross country,
29 ladies' golf, volleyball, and cheer teams, and the 2021 Valley View High
30 School Blazers ladies' cross country and ladies' basketball teams claimed the
31 Class 4A academic athletic state championships, which is awarded to the team
32 with the highest average GPA in each class; and

34 WHEREAS, the Valley View School District has been supported in these
35 many successes by an excellent team of teachers, coaches, and other staff
36 members,

2 NOW THEREFORE,
3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

6 THAT the House of Representatives congratulate the Valley View School
7 District on its many recent athletic and academic accomplishments.
8
9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon its adoption, a copy of this resolution
10 shall be presented to the Superintendent of the Valley View School District,
11 Bryan Russell, by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
