11 CONSTITUTION, ARTICLE 6, 19, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
12 CONSIDERING LEGISLATION TO CREATE AN INCOME TAX
13 CREDIT FOR CERTAIN FULL-TIME LAW ENFORCEMENT

28 WHEREAS, Arkansas Constitution, Article 6, 19, provides that, after
29 the General Assembly has disposed of the business set forth in the Governor's
30 proclamation to convene an extraordinary session, the General Assembly may,
31 by a vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to both houses, remain
32 in session for a period not to exceed fifteen (15) days for the purpose of
33 transacting other legislative business; and

35 WHEREAS, the General Assembly has disposed of the matters set forth in
36 the Governor's proclamation calling the Second Extraordinary Session of the

3 NOW THEREFORE,
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE
5 STATE OF ARKANSAS:

7 THAT the Second Extraordinary Session of the Ninety-Third General
8 Assembly has completed action deemed to be necessary with respect to the
9 business set forth in the Governor's proclamation to convene the Second
10 Extraordinary Session.

12 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Second Extraordinary Session of the
13 Ninety-Third General Assembly is extended as provided in Arkansas
14 Constitution, Article 6, 19, and shall remain in session for a period not
15 exceeding fifteen (15) days for the purpose of considering legislation to
16 create an income tax credit for certain full-time law enforcement officers.
