22 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

24 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 7-5-104, concerning election expenses and
25 allocation, is amended to add an additional subsection to read as follows:
26 (c) No county board of election commissioners shall take or accept any
27 funding, grants, or gifts from any source other than from:
28 (1) A city or incorporated town;
29 (2) The governing authority of the county;
30 (3) The State of Arkansas; or
31 (4) The United States Government.

33 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code 7-7-201, concerning the law governing
34 primary elections, is amended to add an additional subsection to read as
35 follows:
36 (e) The State Board of Election Commissioners shall not take or accept

1 any funding, grants, or gifts from any source other than from:
2 (1) A city or incorporated town;
3 (2) The governing authority of the county;
