22 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

24 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 6-51-211 is amended to read as follows:
25 6-51-211. Acceptance of certain federal benefits promoting vocational
26 education.
27 (a) The State of Arkansas accepts the benefits of an a federal act
28 passed by the United States Congress entitled, An Act to provide for the
29 promotion of vocational education; to provide for cooperation with the states
30 in the promotion of such education in agriculture and the trades and
31 industries; to provide for cooperation with the states in the preparation of
32 teachers of vocational subjects; and to appropriate money and regulate its
33 expenditure, approved by the President on February 23, 1917 "Carl D.
34 Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006", as amended, and in
35 effect January 1, 2021.
36 (b) The state agrees to observe and to comply with all the
