8 TO RECOGNIZE THE NORTH LITTLE ROCK BOYS BASKETBALL
9 TEAM AS THE CLASS 6A STATE CHAMPIONS.

14 BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE CLASS 6A STATE
15 CHAMPIONS.

17 WHEREAS, North Little Rock bested Little Rock Central High to take the
18 Class 6A boys state basketball title with a score of 65-55 at Bank OZK Arena
19 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Thursday, March 18, 2021; and
20
21 WHEREAS, the win earned North Little Rock the eleventh state
22 championship the boys have taken in the team's history, and the fifth
23 championship in the last nine (9) years under Coach Johnny Rice; and
24
25 WHEREAS, North Little Rock finished the season with a 21-2 record,

27 NOW THEREFORE,
28 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE
29 STATE OF ARKANSAS:

31 THAT the Senate congratulate and recognize the North Little Rock boys
32 basketball team as the Class 6A state champions.

34 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be
35 provided to Coach Johnny Rice by the Secretary of the Senate.
