9 AN ACT CONCERNING LIMITATIONS ON THE ISSUANCE OF A
10 TEACHING LICENSE; TO EXPAND THE REASONS FOR WHICH THE
11 STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL NOT ISSUE A FIRST-TIME
12 TEACHING LICENSE OR RENEW AN EXISTING TEACHING
13 LICENSE OR SHALL REVOKE AN EXISTING TEACHING LICENSE;
14 TO PROHIBIT THE ISSUANCE OR RENEWAL OF A TEACHING
15 LICENSE TO A PERSON WHO HAS PLED GUILTY OR NOLO
16 CONTENDERE OR HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUALLY
17 GROOMING A CHILD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

28 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

30 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 6-17-410(c)(47) and (48), concerning
31 actions affecting the issuance of a first-time teaching license or the
32 renewal or revocation of an existing teaching license, are amended to read as
33 follows:
34 (47) Aggravated assault on a family member or household member
35 as prohibited member as prohibited by 5-26-306; and
36 (48) Computer crimes against a minor as prohibited by 5-27-601
