17 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

19 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 5-71-229(a)(3), concerning the penalty for
20 stalking in the first degree, is amended to read as follows:
21 (3) Stalking in the first degree is a Class C B felony.

23 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code 5-71-229(b)(3), concerning the penalty for
24 stalking in the second degree, is amended to read as follows:
25 (3) Stalking in the second degree is a Class D C felony.
