22 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

24 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 6-20-2305(b)(5)(D)(i), concerning funding
25 amounts for professional learning communities, is amended to read as follows:
26 (D)(i) For the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 2021-2022 school
27 year, additional funding up to fourteen million five hundred thousand dollars
28 ($14,500,000), and for the 2022-2023 school years year, additional funding up
29 to twelve million five hundred thousand dollars ($12,500,000) sixteen million
30 five hundred thousand dollars ($16,500,000), provided for professional
31 development above the amount in subdivisions (b)(5)(A) and (B) of this
32 section shall be used by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education
33 for the development and administration of professional learning communities
34 for the benefit of public school districts.
