23 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

25 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 19-4-906(a)(104), concerning the maximum
26 number of passenger motor vehicles permitted for the College of The
27 Ouachitas, is amended to read as follows:

31 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code 19-4-906(a)(133), concerning the maximum
32 number of passenger motor vehicles permitted for University of Arkansas at
33 Pine Bluff, is amended to read as follows:

36 SECTION 3. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. It is found and determined by the

1 General Assembly of the State of Arkansas that changes in the law are needed
2 for the state-supported institutions of higher education, including the
3 authorization of additional motor vehicles, to maintain efficient operations
4 of campuses. Therefore, an emergency is declared to exist, and this act
5 being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety
6 shall become effective on July 1, 2021.
