20 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

22 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 12-18-402(b)(22)-(26), concerning mandated
23 reporters under the Child Maltreatment Act, are amended to read as follows:
24 (22) A public or private school counselor A full-time or part-
25 time employee of a public school or private school, including without
26 limitation:
27 (A) A school counselor;
28 (B) A school official;
29 (C) A teacher;
30 (D) A coach or director of a public or private athletic
31 organization, team, or club; and
32 (E) A coach or director of a public or private nonathletic
33 organization, team, or club;
34 (23) A person who is at least twenty-one (21) years of age and
35 volunteers in a public school or private school:
36 (A) As a coach or director of a public or private athletic

1 organization, team, or club; or
2 (B) As a coach or director of a public or private
3 nonathletic organization, team, or club;
4 (23)(24) A person employed as a school official, including

8 (26) A teacher;
