20 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

22 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code 6-18-716(b), concerning the distribution of
23 excess food, is amended to read as follows:
24 (b)(1) A public school or an open-enrollment public charter school may
25 distribute excess food to students enrolled in the public school or open-
26 enrollment public charter school.
27 (2) A public school or an open-enrollment public charter school
28 may distribute excess food to students for consumption on the school campus
29 or at home.
