4 HR____ CONGRATULATING THE PLAINVIEW HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
5 SOFTBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2023 ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL
6 ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION CLASS 3A SOFTBALL STATE
7 CHAMPIONSHIP.

9 WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
10 presented to the Plainview High School Girls Softball Team
11 for winning the 2023 Alabama High School Athletic
12 Association Class 3A Softball State Championship; and
13 WHEREAS, through teamwork, diligence, and a
14 commitment to excellence, the Plainview High School Girls
15 Softball Team victoriously won the 2023 Alabama High School
16 Athletic Association Class 3A Softball State Championship,
17 capturing its second Class 3A Softball Championship Title in
18 the last three seasons and capping a strong run through the
19 2023 State Tournament with a 14-4 victory over their
20 opponent, Opp High School; and
21 WHEREAS, expert guidance and leadership were provided
22 by Coach Jeff Brooks; and
23 WHEREAS, the talented members of the Plainview High
24 School Girls Softball Team are inspirations to many in their
25 communities and beyond; now therefore,
26 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
27 LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the Plainview High School Girls
28 Softball Team is highly congratulated for winning the 2023
