This resolution commends Coach Jana McGinnis of Jacksonville State University for winning 1,000 games as the Head Softball Coach. Coach McGinnis has been the head coach of the softball program for 30 seasons and has led the team to 10 regular season conference championships and seven conference tournament titles. She is one of only 11 active NCAA Division I Head Coaches with 1,000 wins and is the most decorated coach in Ohio Valley Conference history. The resolution recognizes her achievements and congratulates her on her 1,000th career win.
