8 MOURNING THE DEATH OF BOBBIE LENOIR CONNER.

10 WHEREAS, it is with profound sorrow that we note the
11 death on March 17, 2021, of Bobbie Lenoir Conner, at the age
12 of 66; and
13 WHEREAS, her passing leaves a void in the lives of
14 her loving family, many friends, and the entire community,
15 where she was highly regarded; Mrs. Conner was born on January
16 2, 1955, to Donald Ralph Lenoir and Bobbie Lenoir; and
17 WHEREAS, from an early age, Mrs. Conner was immersed
18 in her community and was known for her joyous personality and
19 unwavering friendship; she was heavily involved in school
20 programs including Y-Teens, choir, Junior Civitans, band, and
21 was head Tigerette in high school at Faith Academy; people
22 often say the best gifts come in small packages; Mrs. Conner
23 was a true example of that; so much love and spirit were
24 wrapped up in one petite person; and
25 WHEREAS, within the community, her involvement and
26 love for others was evidenced by opening her home for a place
27 to stay, a warm meal, a good hug, or a helping hand; she was a

1 gracious host and a beloved friend to so many; she was a
2 treasured daughter, mother, sister, wife, and "CoCo"; she
3 proudly and passionately volunteered and served as a domestic
4 violence responder for the Huntsville Police Department South
5 Precinct for more than 10 years; and
6 WHEREAS, anyone who came into contact with her knew
7 her kind and loving disposition; she served and loved Jesus
8 and others; her servant's heart was evident while she
9 selflessly tried to brighten the lives of others; and
10 WHEREAS, she is predeceased by her father; and son,
11 William Jeffrey Conner; she is survived by her loving husband
12 of 37 years, William Alonzo Conner, III; mother, Bobbie
13 Lenoir; children, Cheryl Conner Woodward (Ben), Kristin Conner
14 Davis (Stephen), and Joshua Michael Conner (Chelsea);
15 brothers, Tommy Lenoir (Diane) and Donny Lenoir (Regina);
16 grandchildren, Saylor Marie Davis, Leighton Lenoir Davis,
17 Olivia Janelle Woodward, and William Beckett Conner; and a
18 host of other relatives and many friends; now therefore,
19 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
20 THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of Bobbie Lenoir
21 Conner is recorded with deep sadness, and this resolution is
22 offered in tribute to her life, along with heartfelt sympathy
23 to her family, whose grief is shared by many.
