8 COMMENDING THE ALABAMA LAW INSTITUTE INTERN FOR THE
9 HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE LEGISLATIVE SERVICES AGENCY
10 LAW CLERK FOR EXEMPLARY SERVICE DURING THE 2021 LEGISLATIVE
11 SESSION.

13 WHEREAS, we extend our highest commendations to the
14 Alabama Law Institute Intern for the House of Representatives
15 and the Legislative Services Agency Law Clerk for exemplary
16 service during the 2021 Legislative Session; and
17 WHEREAS, the Alabama Legislative Internship Program
18 and the Alabama Legislative Services Agency Law Clerk
19 Externship were established to include student interns and law
20 clerks in the state legislative experience by allowing them to
21 observe and participate in the legislative process of state
22 government, and the programs have evolved into integral parts
23 of the Alabama Legislature; and
24 WHEREAS, during their tenure with the House of
25 Representatives and Legislative Services Agency, Jordan
26 Ratliff and Gillian Purser mastered complex legislative issues
27 and assisted staff members with numerous undertakings; and

1 WHEREAS, this remarkable Alabama Law Institute
2 Intern for the House of Representatives and excellent
3 Legislative Services Agency Law Clerk made a lasting
4 impression by demonstrating a keen interest in the legislative
5 process, exhibiting a spirit of service and devotion to the
6 public good, and completing tasks with attention to detail;
7 now therefore,
8 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
9 THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That highest commendations are
10 extended to the 2021 Alabama Law Institute Intern for the
11 House of Representatives and the Legislative Services Agency
12 Law Clerk for their exemplary service, and it is directed that
13 a copy of this resolution be presented to each of them in
14 admiration and appreciation, along with best wishes for
15 continuing success in future endeavors.
