8 CONGRATULATING THE ROGERS HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
9 BASKETBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC
10 ASSOCIATION CLASS 4A NORTHWEST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

12 WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
13 presented to the Rogers High School Girls Basketball Team for
14 winning the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A
15 Northwest Regional Championship; and
16 WHEREAS, through team work, diligence, and a
17 commitment to excellence, the Lady Pirates continue to achieve
18 victory; after claiming their third consecutive Lauderdale
19 County Tournament Championship title, they won the Alabama
20 High School Athletic Association Class 4A Northwest Regional
21 Championship, earning a trip to the State Tournament with a
22 victory over Good Hope High School in the Regional Final; at
23 the State Tournament, the Lady Pirates defeated Geneva and
24 Anniston, claiming their second state title in the last three
25 seasons; during the 2020-2021 basketball season, the Lady
26 Pirates had a record of 29-8; and

1 WHEREAS, the talented team members are Brooke Jones,
2 Sheyenne Hankins, Madie Krieger, Erin Brown, Emily Ahonen,
3 Ella Thompson, Gracie Rogers, Sadee Gray, Ally Jackson,
4 Addison Matthews, Halee Garner, Hailey Clemmons, Charlee Gail
5 Ellis, and Ally Kate Pettus; and
6 WHEREAS, the members of the Rogers High School Girls
7 Basketball Team inspire many in their community and beyond;
8 now therefore,
9 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
10 THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the Rogers High School Girls
11 Basketball Team is highly congratulated, and we hereby
12 dedicate this resolution to each team member with utmost
13 admiration, along with sincere best wishes for continued
14 success in all future endeavors.
