6 ENROLLED, An Act,
7 Relating to Bullock County; to authorize the revenue
8 commissioner to charge and collect an additional
9 administrative fee to be paid by the party securing the
10 redemption of land from tax sales; and to provide for the
11 distribution of the revenue from the fee.
12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
13 Section 1. In Bullock County, the Revenue
14 Commissioner of Bullock County may charge and collect an
15 additional fee in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25) to
16 be paid by the party securing the redemption of land from tax
17 sales. The fee shall be in addition to any other costs and
18 fees due, including the fee provide in Section 40-10-122, Code
19 of Alabama 1975. The fee shall be paid prior to the completion
20 of the redemption and shall be deposited in the Bullock County
21 General Fund earmarked for the operation of the office of the
22 revenue commissioner.
23 Section 2. This act shall become effective on the
24 first day of the third month following its passage and
25 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
