8 COMMENDING TRACY DOUGHTY ON BEING NAMED PRESIDENT
9 AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AT HUNTSVILLE HOSPITAL.

11 WHEREAS, commendations and congratulations are
12 herein extended to Tracy Doughty upon being named the
13 President and Chief Operating Officer at Huntsville Hospital
14 in Huntsville, Alabama; and
15 WHEREAS, Mr. Doughty has served as Senior Vice
16 President of Hospital Operations since 2017; his career at
17 Hunstville Hospital began in 1998; he earned a Bachelor's
18 degree in Nursing from the University of North Alabama; he
19 obtained two Master's Degrees from The University of Alabama
20 at Birmingham, one in Quality and Outcomes Management in
21 Health Systems and the other in Health Administration; and
22 WHEREAS, Mr. Doughty is a member of the American
23 College of Healthcare Executives and the National Society of
24 Health Services Executives; he is a graduate of Leadership
25 Huntsville/Madison County and The Leadership Alabama
26 Initiative; he is well-known and highly regarded in the
27 community for his exceptional abilities and tireless

1 dedication in many organizations including the University of
2 North Alabama Foundation, The Committee of 100; the Huntsville
3 Housing Authority Advisory Board; Downtown Huntsville,
4 Incorporated; Calhoun Community College Foundation; and he is
5 the Huntsville Hospital representative on the Huntsville
6 Emergency Medical Services Board; now therefore,
7 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
8 THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That Tracy Doughty is honored and
9 commended upon being named the President and Chief Operating
10 Officer at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama, and
11 this resolution is offered with heartiest congratulations to
12 him along with best wishes for success in his new position and
13 all future endeavors.
