8 CONGRATULATING THE SUSAN MOORE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
9 BASKETBALL TEAM.

11 WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
12 presented to the Susan Moore High School Girls Basketball Team
13 for its many accomplishments; and
14 WHEREAS, through team work, diligence, and a
15 commitment to excellence, the Susan Moore High School Girls
16 Basketball Team has achieved many accomplishments over the
17 years, making it the most successful team in Susan Moore High
18 School's history for Girls Basketball; and
19 WHEREAS, the Susan Moore High School Girls
20 Basketball Team has recently had a very successful season with
21 a 31-3 winning record, making it the first time to score 30
22 wins or more in a season; other achievements include holding
23 the titles of Blount County Champions for two consecutive
24 years, 3A Area Champions for three consecutive years, Sub
25 Region Winners for three consecutive years, Sweet 16 Winners
26 for two consecutive years, and Elite 8 3A Northwest Regional

1 Champions for the first time, and making a Final Four
2 appearance for the first time; and
3 WHEREAS, the talented members of the Susan Moore
4 High School Girls Basketball Team 2020-2021 Season are Kadence
5 Standridge, Lacey Floyd, Maycee Holland, Angela Sherrer,
6 Kirsten Ingram, Hallie Holmes, Kaitlyn Hill, Cyndal Holland,
7 Marisa Bryan, Cali Smallwood, Kinsley Quick, Ava Brewer,
8 Madison Lipscomb, and Karleigh Allison; and
9 WHEREAS, expert guidance and leadership were
10 provided by Head Coach Natasha Smallwood and Assistant Coaches
11 Bobby Waddle and Justin Waddle; and
12 WHEREAS, the members of the Susan Moore Girls
13 Basketball Team inspire countless others in their community
14 and beyond; now therefore,
15 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
16 THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the Susan Moore High School
17 Girls Basketball Team is highly congratulated, and we hereby
18 dedicate this resolution to the team members, their Head
19 Coach, and their Assistant Coaches with warmest admiration,
20 along with sincere best wishes for continued success in all
21 future endeavors.
