2 ENROLLED, An Act,
3 Relating to Russell County; to amend Act 2017-434 of
4 the 2017 Regular Session, to further provide for the annual
5 salary of the sheriff.
6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
7 Section 1. Section 1 of Act 2017-434 of the 2017
8 Regular Session, is amended to read as follows:
9 "Section 1. Pursuant to Amendment No. 380 of the
10 Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing as Section 6 of
11 the Russell County Local Amendments of the Official
12 Recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, the
13 annual salary of the Sheriff of Russell County shall be one
14 hundred five thousand dollars ($105,000) one hundred twenty
15 thousand dollars ($120,000), which shall be paid in the same
16 manner and at the same time as other county employees."
17 Section 2. This act shall become effective on the
18 first day of the third month following its passage and
19 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
